During an office tidy-up (August is always a slightly slow month in the wine trade) “Tatler’s thousand most socially significant people in 1992″ came to light.
Some of my favourite and most exciting wine experiences have often come about when I’m least expecting them.
On Saturday night I drank a bottle of Ch Pichon Baron, 2eme Cru Pauillac 1993. If anyone has this in their cellar, you should drink it now and really enjoy it.
It is not easy to find great Pommard and Volnay. Certainly the wines of d’Angerville, Lafarge and de Montille are exceptional but so are those being made
Yesterday saw a flurry of activity as the delicious Dom Pérignon 2002 hit the market. Moet & Chandon had been planning to release the new vintage in September
