Congratulations

Set off fireworks, fly the flags and open the Champagne - huge congratulations to our brilliant Wine Buyer Robin Kick who has successfully passed the incredibly difficult Master of Wine exams.
These are some of the toughest exams I have ever heard of with very off-putting pass rates, only a handful of those who start the course make it through to the end.
There is still the small matter of a dissertation to write, but she is definitely on the home strait and we are all incredibly proud of her achievement.
Robin is currently tasting the 2010 vintage in the Rhone Valley but we will be cracking more than a few bottles of Champagne once she is back.

Robin: congratulations from all at Chateau St Jacques!Couldn’t happen to a nicer and so erudite person. We can now telephone Goedhuis and just ask for the Ma’am MW. Sounds so aristocratic. Time to prod the Chairman out of his armchair lethergy and start putting pen to paper?
