Hungry for life and always up for vinous adventure. Slid from the slopes of Val d'Isere into the Wine Trade back in 1984; Big fan of Italy, love the people, their wines and environment. I am at my happiest under the Sesti's pergola in Montalcino conversing late into the evening. Elsewhere I love Pinot Noir, and in particular the wines of Central Otago, Felton Road, Mt Edward, although these are hard to come by in the UK. Rhone is full of variety and value, and terribly good for you Fill my glass with the gorgeous Caro, the impressive joint venture between Catena and Lafite Rothschild, Argentina's sexiest export and for sheer classic enjoyment not much beats a good glass of Haut Brion, Cos or Leoville Lascases.

I thoroughly enjoy communicating about wine and run regular wine courses and corporate wine events, where the emphasis is very definitely on having a great time, informal but informative. Love travel, Sunshine ( important to keep up Vitamin D levels ), diving, tennis and most of all hanging out with Master Ralph and the very beautiful Caroline.
