My love affair with wine began at a very early age when my father gave me a glass of Chateau Talbot. As a ten year old who was more interested in Sherbet Dips and nursing the bruises my brother gave me, I thought it was the most delicious thing I had ever tasted and it still ranks as one of my favourite glasses of wine. Before my mother receives a belated visit from social services, I did not drink or get punched by my brother again for many years...

I started my career at a merchant in st James's, whose name escapes me. After many years and hearing so many great things about Goedhuis, I was curious to find out what all the fuss was about. I was not surprised to find a company that oozes enthusiasm and ambition and with a stunning list to top it off. I was smitten. As one friend from a rival firm put it when I told him of my move…"lucky you that's a proper wine merchant". So here I am now selling the wines I love from all over the world.

I adore Burgundy, I find Germany compelling and Piedmont is a region everyone should visit once in their lives. Please do call me on any wine enquires and I if I don’t know the answer, I will keep you talking while I google it.
