Having decided whilst at University that I wanted to work in the wine trade I moved to London following graduation in 2005 to work in operations for a wine merchant in west Kensington. I joined Goedhuis in 2006 and haven’t looked back.
I lived in Italy for six months as part of my degree where I gained a huge fondness of Italian wines, a delicious bottle of Brunello is difficult to beat! I am also very fond of French wines, whether it be a great bottle of Burgundy with friends over dinner or a glass of delicious Côtes de Provence Rosé in the summer sun.
I love to travel and I was lucky enough to take three months out in 2009 to travel on my own across Asia & Indonesia. I trekked along the Great Wall of China and completed the Annapurna circuit in Nepal. Following all this exertion I spent some obligatory time in South East Asia enjoying some well deserved relaxation!
I’ve now settled back into London life where I enjoy eating out, the theatre, evenings out with friends and of course drinking wine. I’m a keen cyclist and I’m currently training for the London duathlon. I speak German & Italian.
