Our fantastic Shea Pinot Noirs 2008 were on show and they were simply outstanding.

Our fantastic Shea Pinot Noirs 2008 were on show and they were simply outstanding.
I did a tasting yesterday for a punter and two wines which don’t appear to be flying out of the door in London showed very well.
The most important vineyard area in the Walker Bay region is the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley - literal translation “heaven on earth”. Here the altitude and exposure varies greatly
This year, I spent the New Year and much of January in South Africa. I could definitely get used to beating away the January blues with 40 degree heat and daily sunshine!
Last July, I went on a quest to find exceptional Pinot Noir in Oregon. Being Burgundy specialists, we love Pinot Noir. Being American, I knew there were some excellent wines
