We ♥ Domaine Begude
Wednesday, February 9th, 2011We have said it often enough, but we will say it again. James Kinglake is making brilliant wine down in Limoux. And we are not the only ones who have spotted this.

We have said it often enough, but we will say it again. James Kinglake is making brilliant wine down in Limoux. And we are not the only ones who have spotted this.
Several of our wines made into a recent list of Decanter’s best and best value Syrah’s in the world. Here they are:
Colombier, Cuvée Gaby, Crozes-Hermitage 2007 ****17
Over Christmas we planned to have a barbeque on the beach with a few family friends but dare I say it, with the freezing fog these plans were aborted.
Clos des Papes’ Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2009 made it onto Wine Spectator’s Top 100 of 2010 at number 10. Here are their notes:
René Rostaing is my Côte Rôtie hero. He is unbelievably clear about his mission in the vineyard and cellar – to make pure classic Syrah which shouts its origins
